VG247 has word that beta testing of Champions Online will open to the general public beginning on August 17, and will run around the clock. This accompanies an update for participants in closed beta testing of Cryptic's upcoming MMORPG that beta hours are being extended to cover full weekends, and that they will have their level cap raised for the session scheduled for July 17-20.
