Well April 15 has come and gone, we got our taxes in the mail with a good 12 hours to spare before the midnight deadline. I was flipping channels and saw a comment on the odd nature of making the annual tax deadline here in the US on the anniversary of the death of one of our most beloved presidents (Lincoln), but that seems to make sense to help maintain it as a perpetually somber occasion.
