Origin has released a new version 1.18F patch for Ultima IX: Ascension, fixing a long list of problems listed here, including many gameplay problems, plot-stoppers and crashes, as well as adding GeForce support, Direct3D improvements, and more. Update: Matthew Rorie of Stratos Group sends a warning that the patch breaks the game or causes other problems, as messages on the Ultima IX Technical Support messageboard are reporting (registration required), so you may want hold off installing the patch until this is resolved.
