Today is the launch day for Football Manager 2009, the latest installment in this long running football (of the soccer variety) simulation, and this forum post has details on how to properly authenticate the game (thanks Quboid). As noted in that post, the first patch for the game is also available, which brings it to version 9.1.0 (Build 26064).
