Stardock has released the promised version 2.0 update for Galactic Civilizations II, updating the 4X space strategy game. The new version can be acquired automatically via the Impulse platform, and word from the Impulse Driven Website is: "The update adds a host of new features to its latest expansion pack Twilight of the Arnor as well as expands on features found in the Dark Avatar expansion pack." Among the changes in the new version is the ability to design new starships from the main game menu, the ability to play all game campaigns within Twilight of the Arnor, a revamped espionage system, auto-building for starbases, and more.
