We got a reply from Valve to our inquiry about the rumor circulating this morning that Google was seeking to acquire Valve (story). According to spokesperson Doug Lombardi, this is just a rumor: "It's nothing more than rumor. Valve is focused on making Left 4 Dead a great product and supporting folks like Crytek and Ubisoft who are bringing great games to Steam this year."
