Steve Jobs has completed his keynote address at MacWorld San Francisco, and while there weren't any earth shattering revelations of note, id Software's John Carmack, who is indeed on his honeymoon, did in fact make an appearance on video (it would appear Anna brought along some video equipment in addition to that workstation) talking briefly about their new MacOS X platform (and its use of OpenGL, of course). While there was a planned demonstration of Quake III Arena on OS X, the computer froze as the level was loading.
