PC.IGN has posted a preview of The Real Neverending Story, an adventure game in development by Discreet Monsters that's based on the novel by Michael Ende (not the movie). There are a number of screenshots, showing off the diverse collection of characters in the game, which range from a monstrous looking tree, to a hulking blue pig.
