Also on PC.IGN is a preview of Splinter, a new Descent-style first person shooter from Australian developer Stromlo, that has you fighting against miniature ants with wings (whee!). In addition to the regular handful of screenshots, the preview has quotes from the game's developers, discussing the engine and the title's story, which is actually pretty unique.
