A thread titled Will the demo be released before x-mas on Raven's Support BBS gives the answer to that question about the release of a Soldier of Fortune demo before the holidays as no, with Raven's Rick Johnson saying that since "The holiday season disrupts the whole development process too much (as well as QA won't be available)," the demo would not be out before the end of the year, saying "Sorry, but we aren't rushing this out."
