Gods and Heroes - A Writer's Lament: Requiem for a Game on MMORPG.COM is written by Michael Fiegel, who looks back on development of Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising, Perpetual's MMORPG that was recently put on "indefinite hold" (story). Michael, a writer and content developer on the ill-fated project, seems as dubious as we are about the "hold" claim, going on to outline a number of gameplay elements we will "never" (as opposed to, say 'eventually') see. He also mentions being surprised by the game's "sudden" change in status, and how he is now at the acceptance stage, likening the process of getting over a cancelled game to the five stages of grief as observed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross.
