EA announces the sales and imminent release of four Macintosh editions of their
games, shortly after it was reported their Mac efforts were delayed
(story). Word is that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,
Need for Speed Carbon, Battlefield 2142, and Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
are all now available in
The Apple Store. This is for think somewhat different Macs, rather than the
entirely different thinkers, as each game's system requirements include a
1.83GHz or faster Intel Core Duo processor.
Macworld
(thanks Peter) has a story about this quoting EA saying Madden NFL 2008 and
Tiger Woods PGA 2008 have been postponed, and Mac editions of both games are now
slated for "the September/October window."
