American McGee’s Blog
apparently spilled some beans about Grimm, his next game. The indication of this
is his attempt to put the genie back in the bottle, saying: "Uh, forget I said
anything about the new game. Apparently I wasn’t supposed to let any cats out of
any bags just yet. So… nothing to see here. Move along." This would have worked
on those of us with no electricity, were it not for
Shacknews, who
summarized the now deleted post. According to the Shack, McGee's studio Shiny
Horse is at work on Grimm, a "twisted fairy tale" serving as a "spiritual
sequel of sorts" to Alice. The game will span an ambitious 24 episode release on
GameTap. To be written and executive produced by Alice collaborator
R.J. Berg, the game is set to launch in the first half of next year, and more
details are promised in the July issue of PC Gamer magazine (which is
presumably why American's original post about all this has now been removed).
