Battlefield (thanks Ant) has some details on plans for the coming version
1.4 patch for Battlefield 2, but if this is the announcement we were expecting
(story) it comes from the surprising source of
EA Spain, which
forced PBF to do a little translating:
Your opinions and reports of bugs have been very useful to improve the stability of the client and server for this patch. Also the new map Road to Jalalabad "Sponsored by Comcast", as well as new the new server option "No Vehicles" which adds a new dimension to classic Battlefield experience. Patch 1.4 will be available next Tuesday 15 of August.
In addition, in the attempt to continue supporting our community it we are pleased to announce the first cycle of our MODLight in which we will review the talent of the of community mods. This includes each mod will be reviewed and hosted on servers worldwide so that the players can enjoy.
