The Strange Company site has a new version 2.05 of the StangeUtil freeware utility for those who create Quake-family mods to distribute sound for their work as mp3s within a .pak file, reducing the size of the pre-installation sounds by up to 90%. The new release, produced with the assistance of the Quake done Quick team (for their upcoming "Rabbit Run"), fixes the "40 ms delay" problem, adds a script file creator (to automate setup of the installation process), and fixes several other bugs.
