Lionhead back
in acquisition talks with key publishers announces that the developer is
engaged in talks over a potential acquisition, though the reports are
unofficial, attributed to "sources close to" the company. The story goes on to
suggest that Microsoft and Ubisoft are said to be the most interested suitors,
but that market leader EA has ruled themselves out as a candidate to pick up
Lionhead.
