- Pariah
Interview
with a Pariah on IGN chats up James Schmalz of Digital Extremes to learn
more about plans for Pariah, their upcoming first-person shooter: "Well, one
definition of 'Pariah' is an outcast from society. That fits the theme of
the game in a number of ways: The main character is a bit of a loner at a
low point in his medical career. The female lead character has been a
prisoner for a long time and many of the enemies are prisoners or escaped
prisoners. So, Pariah is a word that fits nicely on a number of levels."
- Painkiller
Migraine
Headaches Getting You Down? Don’t Take Aspirin – Play "Painkiller Battle out
of Hell" and Call Me in the Morning on GameZone is the stretch of a
title of the Q&A with Adrian Chmielarz of people Can Fly about their
first-person shooter expansion. Likewise, there's an edited chat log from
the recent Painkiller: Battle out of Hell IRC Chat on
Filefront.
- Scrapland
The
American McGee
Presents Scrapland Q&A on IGN talks with Enric Alvarez and American
McGee about Mercury Steam Entertainment's now-gold action game: "MSE was
born two years ago. Initially it was formed with people from Rebel Act
Studios. We had just released Blade of Darkness worldwide and a sequel for
PS2 and an Xbox port were on the way. But Rebel Act closed its doors and we
lost our jobs. A few of us remained together, determined to stay in
business, and we made it. Six months later we founded MSE and began
Scrapland development."
- BloodRayne Movie
FilmForce's
Uwe Boll Interview Part One talks with the gamesploitation (remember
where that one was coined when it's all over the 'net soon) director about
progress on the film adaptation of the BloodRayne games: "...Billy Zane
played a part also. We got [Zane] one and a half week's ago, so this info
[might not have] reached the fans so far. And then we got, as like a vampire
crack house leader, we have Meatloaf. He's playing it like in the Rocky
Horror Picture Show, a really cool scene with tons of prostitutes in a
big crack house. It's a great scene."
