The BW-Admin page has a new version 1.64 release of the Barrysworld ZBot Detection & Admin Plug-In DLL for Quake II. This is a "transparent" DLL that adds the following to any existing Quake II modification: ZBot detection and kicking (with logging to file), Rate and 'cl_maxfps' capping, player IP and NAME banning, server MOTD, configurable item/weapon spawning, reserving nicks to specific IP's, flood protection and keyword filtering, and more. The new version cleans up the code, and is a recommended update for those running the DLL, as it addresses the following issues: It eliminates "false-positive" RatBot detects, the program failing to kick some players has been fixed, a bug in the flood-protection settings has been fixed, another bot detection routine has been added, and more.
