I just posted loony's Quake III Bus Tour Day One Diary, a traditional rambling (but chronological, and that's important) recounting of the days events in hot-as-Texas Houston. The update describes the LAN, the people, the new maps, and even offers up a road version of the pop culture game. Today's experience is a multimedia one as well, since the loonster is outfitted with the Blue's News Gratuitously Expensive Camera™ which will allow him to give some visuals from the event, including the first couple of shots of that Orbb model that's part of the bus version of Q3Test. The shots are photos of the screens (because the computers on the bus have all the features that would allow a normal screenshot turned off as a side-effect of the high security implemented), so they are not nearly as good as real screenshots, but they don't completely suck, and give a feel for the quirky new model.
