MacUnreal Troubleshooting

Westlake Interactive has posted a follow-up to the newly released beta 6 of MacUnreal version 224. The update reiterates that they are unable to provide technical support, so they've posted a troubleshooting page for MacUnreal. The page is an effort to cut down on the flood of emails asking for help, which they say is the only way they will be able to settle down and finish their work. Here's their report on why this is so necessary:

We still have tentative plans to try to do a final update of Unreal, rolling in changes from Unreal Tournament that may help stability. Whether or not we are able to do this will depend a lot on how much time we have to spend answering email from people asking for help. After providing free updates for a year on Unreal, while the PC version continues to change and force us to re-write our code, we can say the frustration level with Unreal is pretty high (probably close to that of people who have trouble getting it to run). When the frustration becomes too much, we may have to cut our losses (literally) and end work on Unreal Mac.
