Half-Life Linux Server Fix

SingNet Games News sends word of a problem some Linux server operators may be having because of an early build of the Half-Life dedicated server they downloaded through the primary server program. Here's a description of the problem, and a solution they offer as an alternative to going through the whole download again:

Just though I needed to share some important info on the new halflife server patches. This concerns only the LINUX primary server programs. Apparently, the earlier ones by fileplanet and WON (ver 3013) are of (Aug 9 build 1019) as compared to the ones on the WON website (ver 3014) (Aug 17 build 1027).

The latest build of the server program is more stable and does a decent proper shutdown. I have checked the 2 server builds and the only difference lies in the 2 binaries.

So, for server ops who have downloaded the earlier version, I have extracted the 2 binaries from the file hlds_l30133014.tar.gz found on WON website. Server ops need just to copy and overwrite the existing 2 server binaries. The file can be found on our gamesadmin website. Alternately, FileLink: http://web.singnet.com.sg/~quake/hlds3014.zip
