A story on Cinescape (thanks nin) has word that the film rights to American McGee's upcoming Wizard of Oz-inspired game have been acquired by Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Walt Disney Pictures. Word is: "Although the film has no definitive plan for when it will move into production, the screenwriting brother duo of Kevin and Dan Hageman are now working on the film's script. Disney and Bruckheimer envision the new OZ to be the first in a proposed trilogy of films."
