In their continuing coverage of games that aren't Quake, Quake2000.net has posted an interview with Jarrod Showers, animator on Raven Software's Soldier of Fortune. The interview covers Jarrod's background in the industry, GHOUL (Raven's animation system for SoF), and the status of the game, which he says is in an alpha state, and will ship in late fall (of course, these things are always subject to change).
