Out of the Blue

Hide the cats and grab the pooper-scoopers, the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is once again in town. I've mentioned before, this was how MrsBlue and I would get our annual Airedale Terrier fix when we were city-dwellers and could not (or would not) keep a dog. The Airedale has not fared so well in the competition since the days of FDR, but it's always nice to have a rooting interest. In reality, the show is fairly bizarre, and frightfully similar to the satire presented in Best in Show, right down to the commentary of Fred Willard/Joe Garagiola ("how much do you think I could bench-press?").
