There's an article on Salon called "One Step Ahead of the Law" that focuses on Kingpin and the whole "carding" issue that's popping up here in the United States, and its implications for the industry. It's an interesting article, and has this notable quote from Doug Lowenstein, front man for the ISDA (and staple for articles like this):

"There is this feeling that government will say, 'We gave them a chance and they didn't do it, so now we have to regulate for them,'" says Lowenstein of the IDSA. So the group's current position is that "We would prefer if 'Mature' games were not sold to people under 17."
