The official Settlers IV site has word that a new sequel to the long-running management strategy series by Blue Byte is in development. This as-yet untitled fifth installment will be the first to incorporate "innovative 3D-technology" as well as "new strategic elements" with the aim to "create a truly innovative leap inside the Settlers' gameplay," and the announcement is accompanied by the first concept image.
