After a second round of investigations, the ad that was causing browser crashes yesterday was identified and put out of our misery. We were also given new ad code to run that features some spiffy "even larger" technology that the scientists have been working on. Unfortunately, the way our design here works, adding the larger ads is something akin to brain surgery; so you may have noticed some of the elements atop the page moving about at times yesterday as I worked on this (and speaking of brain surgery, you may have heard the accompanying banging of my head against the wall). I'll be back at work on this again today, so brace yourself for more potential wackiness.

Long-time readers will know how loathe I am to discuss future site plans because of how long it can often take things to play out, but I do want to say that some of the suggestions on how to deal with aspects of the situation on the 'net regarding advertising and revenue are in line with actions we're taking even as we speak. So without going into detail, I want to offer reassurances that this is something that's being worked on.
