Steam now offers Outrider Mako, a top-down action game for Windows where the player must overcome enemies and obstacles to deliver the goods, whatever they are. Word is: "Asamado Games is just one person who worked on everything from the game system to the pixel art, to even the background music, and the result is a brilliant, challenging 2D action game." The pixel art Release Trailer has a look at gameplay and a listen to its music, which is also now available, and there's a launch discount for the game as well as the soundtrack. Just be ready to visit flavortown, as word is you must curry favor with the gods of the Mayo:

Mako falls into the Mayoi World and finds herself at the Bumon Delivery Center, which a strange monster named Mozu claims is a package delivery service. Mako ends up becoming an outrider for the delivery center. She will need to collect seal stamps from the gods of the Mayoi World in the apprentice notes given to her by Mozu to fill it with spirit energy and return to her own world.
