A post from Ubisoft related to promoting The Rogue Prince of Persia has a reassurance for Prince of Persia fans that the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is still on the way, no matter how much sand has passed through the hourglass since it was announced in 2020. Despite four delays over time a developer switch and the cancellation of preorders, Ubi says the game is still in development:
Yep, we’re still deep in the game — exploring, building, and ensuring the sands move with purpose.
This game is being crafted by a team that truly cares, and they're pouring their hearts (and a lot of coffee) into every step.
