My DSL connection seems about back to normal today, for a while yesterday it was choked off to an almost complete halt as my ISP moved other users whose connections were apparently destroyed in the WTC attack onto whatever undamaged pipe I was on. While I am not at all unhappy to be back on a digital connection after reverting to a modem to be able to do anything, I am very surprised that anyone was able to get this fixed so quickly under the circumstances, especially since I was told it might take a week to fix.

In other aftermath-related notes, knowing he was in the city, a couple of folks have asked me about the safety of JUDGECAL, and I have been in contact with him since the attack, and he is okay. Also, thanks to the folks at WomenGamers.Com who cooked up the Red Cross banner linked below, which seemed appropriate to post under the circumstances.
