There are some Archangel First Impressions on RPGDot based on checking out the alpha version that was demonstrated at this year's ECTS. The preview gives a feel for the action/RPG's third-person gameplay, offering praise for the motion-captured animation, saying "the character on the screen did move and fight in a very realistic way" as well as the usefulness of the ability to switch to a first person point of view. They go into the middle-ages setting of the demonstration they saw, which is one of the three eras that will be in the final game, the three classes from which players will choose, and a feel for the good versus evil plotline. There are also previously released screenshots, videos, and artwork accompanying the preview.
