Ministry of Order Announced

VoltekPlay announces Ministry of Order, a narrative puzzle game set in a 1920's maternity ward. But it's not all teddy bears, as this is set under a totalitatian regime, and touches on the eugenics movement that was on trend at the time. The Official Reveal Trailer takes a look, and hints that there's more to this than meets the eye. You can read up on this on Steam. Here's word:

Each shift you work the maternity-ward desk. Baby tags and parent cards lie before you; match eye colour and blood type in a simplified genetics puzzle. Accurate work keeps your modest salary coming, while mistakes earn warnings and penalties that can leave you unable to pay rent or buy food.

Colleagues drop by between cases. Branching dialogue choices let you befriend, antagonise, or even romance them. Choose your words carefully: some people are genuinely friendly, but undercover government agents may be testing your loyalty to the regime.
