A new release of jDoom is now available, updating Jaakko Keränen's port of the public DOOM source code to version 1.1. This release comes as a 740 KB upgrade from version 1.0 and features a lot of changes and improvements, including support for "Extended General (XG) line and sector types," sprite enhancements, new console commands and variables, support for external music files, bug fixes, and more. Additionally, a new DED Manager is available that supports DeHackEd patches as well as the aforementioned XG line and sector types.
