Version 1.0 of Quake III Paintball is now available, the first released version of this colorful Quake III Arena modification. this debut version offers traditional 'run around and pick stuff up' style gameplay, but the plan is to eventually offer something closer to the 'earn money to buy better stuff' style of play found in Counter-Strike. They also have a new message board for the mod online, and a list of multiplayer servers that are already running Paintball.
