The official Earth and Beyond site transmits the news that the first round of public beta testing invitations have now been mailed out, on which occasion a new beta status update is online with the latest on this massively multiplayer space RPG in development at Westwood. The update has some information on progress made on all space frontiers in recent months, and word is they will "begin testing in a couple weeks. We'll be scaling up our test over the next few months, and adding progressively more and more members of the community."
