Activision sends along a press release with the announcement that Soldier of Fortune Platinum Marches onto Retail Shelves. Along with the word on the availability of the repackaged version of the gold edition of the mercenary shooter that includes five new multiplayer maps, GameSpy support, a digital copy of the official strategy guide, and a preview trailer of Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, the release also has word of a new Soldier of Fortune website where you can "can learn more about Soldier of Fortune Platinum Edition, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix and the real life exploits of John Mullins."
