While it had already been announced that the game will be beaming onto store shelves by September 11 (story), Gone Gold now reports that the US edition of Far Gate has indeed gone gold (so it won't accidentally end up in a parallel universe or something). They also report that the adventure game Road to India has gone gold, on which topic publisher Microids sent along this direct download link (29.4 MB) to a two minute, high-res movie trailer of the game.
