A post on Reddit reveals that Electronic Arts has delisted several games from Steam developed by Codemasters, the studio it fought to acquire in 2020. These games can no longer be purchased, but the delistings were not preceded by sunset announcements, so there is no explanation yet as to why. But a post on Delisted Games notes some of these games were listed in an Online Service Shutdown update, warning: "If you spot an older or licensed release on EA’s Service Updates page that is listed as 'leaving EA Play' or 'leaving The Play List', it’s likely going to be delisted as well." Here's word:
The following titles have been delisted:
- Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
- Toybox Turbos
- Rise of the Argonauts
- Maelstrom: The Battle for Earth Begins
- Damnation
- Hospital Tycoon
Earlier, it was reported that some games would be leaving EA Play,, including Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, with a removal date of March 14—the same day it was delisted from Steam.
