GamePen reports that 3DO has released a free trial client of Jumpgate, available for download from Gigex. Jumpgate is the massively multiplayer space combat game by Netdevil, and to participate in the ongoing North American stress test (story) you'll need to sign up for the Jumpgate Universe. There are no details on the trial client other than that it requires a 84.2 MB download.
