Eidos sends along this press release announcing "that Soul Reaver 2, the follow-up release to the 1.5 million-unit-selling video game Soul Reaver, will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 in North America. As the third installment in the Legacy of Kain series, Soul Reaver 2 is slated to hit store shelves this Fall." Since this specifically mentions North America, we inquired as to whether this meant that a previous report that a European PC port of the game is still planned, and there was a possibility that this would make it to North America as part of a bundle (story) was no longer accurate, and we were informed that the European PC port is indeed still planned, and that while there are no new developments on their efforts to make an OEM deal to bundle the PC game in North America, they are still exploring that possibility.
