Borderlands 4 in September

Gearbox Entertainment president Randy Pitchford announced a September 23rd release date for Borderlands 4 at today's Sony State of Play event. A new Official Launch Date Trailer accompanies the news with the latest look at the looter-shooter sequel, promising "a glimpse of some of the new movement abilities, devastating action skills, and killer loot that awaits you on the dangerous new planet Kairos." Word is a dedicated State of Play event in the spring will bring what's described as a "full gameplay reveal." In the meantime, here's more from the description:
