The Farm 51 is now
running a Kickstarter for
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, the sequel
to
Chernobylite, its
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-inspired RPG set in the
Chornobyl exclusion zone. The game was
revealed during the
summer, and
it was announced last month
this would go the crowdfunding route, just like the
original game from
2019. The campaign has a $97,377 target, an Early Bird offer, and word that a
release is not that far off: "Support us and secure your pre-ordered copy here
at a good price before the game is finished. Demo access will be available in
February 2025. Steam key will be sent by March 2025." Here's the
Steam Listing, the
Kickstarter Launch Trailer, and a lesson on the post-apo way of saying
post-apocalyptic:
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apo action RPG
game, mixing free exploration of huge and extremely realistic open world,
challenging combat, unique crafting, team and base management with non-linear
storytelling. You’re a planewalker who travels through parallel worlds in search
of the precious, high-energy material called Chernobylite. Cut off from the
world, trapped in the Zone, attacked by hordes of nightmare creatures, you must
fight for survival and unite the handful of remaining
survivors.
