The latest Anarchy Online News Update has word that they have been forced to roll back the player database, causing many players to lose several hours worth of experience, due to a serious IP exploit that cropped up in the latest patch (story) that "would have lead to great imbalances within the game." The apologetic report goes on to say "The team is evaluating and changing the procedures to be sure that we catch serious exploits while they still are on the test-server in the future." In addition they have posted this page with social guidelines for behavior on their bulletin boards.
