The Unrailed series is back on track, as
Unrailed 2: Back on Track has
pulled out of the station and is now available in Early Access for Windows and
macOS
on Steam. Train your eyes on the
Early Access Launch
Trailer for a look at this casual simulation in action. It shows off the
game's co-op features, which are also highlighted in the announcement from
Indoor Astronaut:
Today’s trailer showcases Unrailed 2: Back on Track’s
uniquely zany multiplayer fun, following teams of adorable animals as they
collaborate to overcome dangerous environments and bosses, share tools and
unlock upgrades and keep their train intact until it reaches the next station.
Unrailed 2: Back on Track encourages players to work together at all times, both
to avoid derailments while routing a train to its next destination and
in-between levels. Decide together which upgrades are most vital to keep your
train progressing, and when to risk braving a more dangerous route for a greater
reward. Unlock new biomes, engines and more while preparing for every occasion
as no two expeditions will be the same; branching routes and procedurally
generated worlds ensure a new adventure each playthrough.
Bring up to three friends along for the fun, either through local or online
co-op to accomplish goals and avoid a run-ending trainwreck. Teams with an extra
competitive edge can face off against a rival team of travelers in the 4v4
Versus mode, frantically competing to top online leaderboards as well.
New for Unrailed 2: Back on Track, aspiring conductors can also try the Terrain
Conductor mode, where imaginations can truly go off the rails. Build custom maps
to share with your friends and the Unrailed community and gain fresh inspiration
by playing creations from fellow conductors around the
world.
