Hell of an Office is now officially available
on Steam
following an Early Access run for this Windows speedrunning platformer from 43
Studios and Joystick Ventures. Word is it will also come to PlayStation and
Switch later this year. In this your haste is motivated by the desire to escape
corporate Hell, with a capital "H," paychecks signed by Satan and all. The
Launch Trailer shows
your race through the underworld armed only with your disturbingly not-red
stapler, and there's a playable demo to sample. Here's word:
Escape before
you end up as a burnt-out employee HellO, the underworld’s premiere purveyor of
office supply products. With only your trusty, flaming staple-blasting stapler
and clip-on necktie grappling hook to rely on, blaze through devilish traps like
laser beams, spiked walls, razor-sharp saw blades, and negative annual
performance reviews from the CEO of Hades himself: Mr. Satan.
With the new campaign, you'll discover how HellO's employees ended up burnt out
just like you will... if you don't manage to conquer the 100 new challenging
levels across 10 layers of Hell itself, which will either lead you to climb the
corporate ladder or be consumed by overwork, burnout and
lava.
