ONE BTN BOSSES is now available for Windows
on Steam, offering a bullet hell shooter with a lot of imagination
considering its titular button-challenged control scheme. Gameplay and its
hand-drawn aesthetic are on full display in this recent
Gameplay Explainer Video.
The announcement brags about the success of the demo, which must be to push our
buttons, since it's no longer offered. Here's word:
ONE BTN BOSSES is a
minimalistic bullet hell game that offers a fresh take on the genre. The goal is
to defeat increasingly challenging bosses with the tap of one button to dodge
their attacks. The longer players wait to evade the infinite waves of bullets,
the faster their ship fires and the quicker they win. Pilots with the highest
scores will find their names ranked on global leaderboards.
With over 15,000 Steam demo downloads since its Next Fest debut, ONE BTN BOSSES
is launching with a full handcrafted campaign that spans 50 branching story
levels, and a highly replayable roguelike mode, where players can create broken
builds to crunch through boss encounters. With various unlockable
playstyle-changing customization options, the game offers many hours of
fast-paced bullet-shooting fun, complemented by a legendary synthwave
soundtrack.
