A post to Promode.Org offers "Quick
notes on 1.29g, and a very cool trick with demos" following-up on
the recent release of the Quake III Arena version 1.29g patch. Since mouse
sensitivity was changed in the new release (they cover the argument over whether
this is now fixed or broken), they offer the key info that some unhappy folks
seem to be missing in the documentation on how to revert your mouse's behavior
back to the way it was under Q3A 1.17, 1.27h, and 1.29f by setting the
"in_mouse" cvar to -1, while setting it back to 1 will use the newer
(1.27g, 1.29g) mouse code. They also mention work on a " very
cool trick with demos" that allows a client record a single demo in
a one-on-one match that includes the point of view of each of the players.
