Those who know me know I did not inherit my mother's love for cooking. I do actually have my moments, I make some really top notch chili, and am competent at about just about every kind of breakfast food (including perfect omelets), but even when it comes to my specialties, I can only occasionally work myself up to turning on the stove. That is until the last few days when on the Vet's advice I have been cooking rice and chicken for Hudson the Wonder Dog to settle an upset stomach she's been suffering with. So there you have it, for myself, Hot Pockets in the microwave qualifies as cooking, but for the dog I become Julia Child. I better work on her typing some more so she can take over my job eventually -- at this rate she'll probably outlive me.
