As promised (and in fact earlier than originally announced), beta version 0.45 of the True Combat mod for Quake III Arena has been released. True Combat is "a superreal conversion" and this latest release adds "free climbing," a holstering system, a new light glare effect and lots more. It is available for Mac, Linux and Win32.
