Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Released

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is now available on Steam, offering a JRPG for Windows from Rabbit & Bear Studios and 505 Games. This crowdfunded game is latest installment in Eiyuden Chronicle, the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series. It is also the final game from Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama, who passed away in February. The Launch Trailer is here with a look at some storytelling and gameplay. Here's a description, including the first-ever use of the word "dint" (not counting this one) on this website:
Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values.

By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there.

The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic.
